How to get the best results with HeySunday Dishwasher sheetsUpdated a month ago
Every dishwasher is a little different — here’s how to get a consistently great clean with HeySunday Dishwasher Sheets, plus fixes for the most common hiccups.
Sheet not dissolving, or found stuck in the compartment?
This is almost always one of three things:
• The compartment door didn’t open fully — fold or tear the sheet so it sits loosely, never wedged in.
• The cycle was too short or too cool — quick-wash and some eco cycles don’t give the sheet enough time or heat. Use the normal cycle; sheets dissolve best at 50–60°C (122–140°F).
• Alternative: place the sheet directly on the top rack or on the dishes — it starts dissolving as soon as water flows.
Residue or film on dishes?
• Use a rinse aid (especially with hard water), don’t overload the racks, and make sure spray arms can spin freely.
• Hard-water homes: keep the rinse-aid dispenser filled, and see our article “Will HeySunday dishwasher sheets work with hard water systems?”
A lingering scent on plastics?
Plastic absorbs scents more readily than glass or metal — run an extra rinse cycle and it should clear.
